Cricket game and the dream of return to the Olympic Stadium


Cricket is one of the most famous sports games of great interest from fans around the world. Cricket appeared once at the Paris 1990 Summer Olympics when Great Britain won the only other participant, France, through 158 rounds to collect the gold medal .

Cricket has been absent since the Olympics, but the International Cricket Council is considering the return of the Olympic Games at the 2024 Olympics, which is competing to host the Paris and Los Angeles rallies using a decision on the winner in September 2017 in Lima, Peru.

Dave Richardson, chief executive of the international cricket team, said it was time to apply to the International Olympic Committee and return the game to the Olympic Games.

Richardson said the council would meet in July to make a final decision on the application for inclusion of the game in the Olympics before the Olympic Committee thought in September to include new games in the Olympics.

Cricket can return to the Olympics after 210 years of absence and the same city of Paris as the French file won the bid to host the 2024 Olympics.

If cricket becomes Olympic again, England and the West Indies will not be able to compete in this way, the Great Britain team will represent England while Caribbean nations will compete individually.
