Australia hosts for the first time in the 2020 World Cup Cricket Class XX
The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced Tuesday that Australia and New Zealand will host for the first time the 2020 World Cup.here is New players in PSL 2018 is available.
AFC chairman, David Richardson, confirmed at a joint press conference with Australian Cricket Council chairman James Sutherland four days before the 2015 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand that the 20th Cricket World Cup, Or "T20" will be organized by Australia for the first time in 2020.
"It's an honor for us to host a world event for the International Cricket Council," Sutherland said, adding that his country had enough time to prepare for the event.
Time difference between Australia and much of the world is often taken into account when deciding to host a sporting event.
"What makes it unique is that world championships in Australia are few and far between, adding to the enthusiasm and expectations of the event," Richardson said.
The International Cricket Council is responsible for organizing and managing the major international cricket championships, most notably the World Cup, the World Cup, the 19th and the New World Test.
The 20th World Cup was held for the first time in South Africa in 2007, and the most powerful cricket nations (India, Pakistan and England) shared the three trophies since then.
